      Highlights from April at Gaziemir Science and Art Center 

    We learned the memory card game. We played memory games using cards with pictures   of different concepts, including the ones we learned in our science classes, which helped us   reinforce those concepts more effectively.

    Another activity we did was turning a paper-and-pencil game called Race to Finish into a   3D version. We used egg cartons, toilet paper rolls, used paper, and cardboard to create a   three-dimensional board game. We rewrote the game instructions inspired by   environmentally sustainable habits to promote environmental awareness. We both built the   game and played it. The game instructions were written entirely in English, which also   supported our foreign language development.

    Another April activity was the board game Blockade. While the blocks and obstacles   helped develop our creative and critical thinking skills, the game also enabled us to   integrate a problem-solving mindset into our daily lives.

    April was an amazing month! We are so glad to be a part of this project.
