Activity Description

5th grade students creatively designed and played a 3D version of Snakes and Ladders using recycled and simple materials.
During the activity:
Used cardboard boxes served as the game board, marked with a numbered grid.
Toothpicks were used to construct 3D ladders.
Snake figures were drawn and designed using colored pencils and paper.
All materials were reused or recyclable, encouraging sustainability and environmental awareness.
This hands-on design process supported students’ creative thinking and scientific understanding.

We played memory games using cards with pictures   of different concepts, including the ones we learned in our science classes, which helped  us   reinforce those concepts more effectively.      Another activity we did was turning a paper-and-pencil game called Race to Finish into a   3D version. We used egg cartons, toilet paper rolls, used paper, and cardboard to create a   three-dimensional board game.
